Rooted in Qiandongnan, the Guizhou Hewan Institute of Hmong Studies has long been dedicated to documenting and researching Miao culture. Its work includes sustained field research, visual and archival documentation, cultural interpretation, and scholarly exchange. By connecting local communities, cultural practitioners, and researchers, the Institute brings locally grounded knowledge, field experience, and research guidance to this website.

C-Eudaemonia is an educational organization focused on youth development, cross-cultural learning, and action for sustainability. We bring learning into real-world settings through field research, project-based practice, international exchange, and public-facing creative work. Our aim is to help young people turn interests into questions worth pursuing over time, and observations into essays, films, designs, and action.

The Hmong Living Culture Museum has grown where these two long-term practices meet. Hewan contributes locally grounded knowledge, research methods, and community relationships; C-Eudaemonia supports youth participation, cross-cultural collaboration, and public communication. Our shared purpose is not to speak on behalf of a culture, but to listen carefully, document responsibly, and make it possible for more people to encounter it with respect.
